Here's the latest official release from Bob (webringlist manager and employee of Y!) <Begin Quote> Here is what I/We have to give you as of right now. The system is live, although it's currently DOA. The interface between WR and Y! is the source of the problems. One isn't reading the other. Which direction this is a problem we do know as of yet. The engineers are working hard on solving the mismatch. I've spent the better part of the day, since launch I've been online and testing 7 hours and they have been on it non stop, talking with them tring to help find the problems. The system was beta tested for months. I for one helped out and it worked perfectly on the Beta servers. It is a problem with the live servers. I hope to have an answer during the day tomorrow. Yes, at current settings the SSNB is called thru a Java Script and only thru a JS. Yes it has your Y!ID in it as does your ring listing on the Hub pages. When I worked with it on the Beta server you could sign in and out and get different "S" numbers for seperate SSNB calls. This allowed for one ring per SSNB on a single Y!ID. However I can't confirm it is still this way on the Live servers because of the problems that are happening right now. Everyone, to include the WR staff, are very frustrated with the network problems. My personnal plee - Please give the WR staff, myself, and the Network 24 hours to beat the crap out of the problems we're running into before you give up completely. To those that are among the 400+ emails in my box - I swear I'm repling as fast as I can. To those that can read posts in the club but not join it - this is being worked on as well and hopefully I'll have an answer for you on it soon.
