Found my problem already...  even though I swear remembering to click on ASCII
mode, it still got converted to binary... hrm.  Also, I missed the " Note that
doublequotes are used so that they will not conflict with the single quotes
already in use." link in the FAQ and had trouble with the data directory as a
result.  Everything's up and running now, tho!  WOOHOO!
