RE: General
Gunnar, etal.
Well, I've made up my mind. I'll install Ringlink as time allows and move
my webrings to my server.
I considered asking my ringmembers what they think but THEY don't have to
maintain the ring(s), nor do they maintain their records. I know getting
them to change their code will be a REAL uphill battle. I took over one
ring 6 months ago and I still have sites that have the OLD "ring home"
address.
Registration name address. . . Its been suggested to me that the DOMAIN own
its NAME. Then if you want to sell it you don't have to go through a ton
of paperwork. I recently bought two names and now I have to get notarized
documents to change the registration. AND if dealing with Network
Solutions the registrations fees have to be paid as if its a NEW
registration.. . :(
Today I downloaded a program called Web-Ring Verifier 2.1. Anyone have any
experiance with it? Any problems with using it with Ringlink???
Unless there is a way to suspend mail on this list I'll be removing myself
but I'll still be around!
