list.pl lists the sites in the same order as the items are listed in
sites.db. I have no plan to change list.pl in the direction you would
like to see, so you would need to do it yourself (or convince someone
else). Not that I see the rational for it... Conceptually list.pl
displays an extract from a ring, without any beginning or end, so
sorting the sites (in alphabetical or some other order) would be
contradictory to one of the ideas with Ringlink.
A tool to change the order of the items in sites.db will be implemented
soon. My primary intention is to make it possible to reorder the sites
on a random basis; however, it wouldn't be very difficult to also add an
option to sort them in alphabetical order.
