Hey gunnar, 
   I used the following in my .htaccess and it seems to work perfect. I
tried to creat a test sitea nd implement it into the ring and still
everthing worked perfect. When trying to access the db file I got error
403 access denied. :)  It worked.  so my questions is, does it matter if
the first and last lines (below) are as they are or the <Limit GET>
commands?
<files *.db>
order allow, deny
deny from all
</Files>
