Re: Ringlink pull on system resources

Hi.
I am just installing RingLink. I do wish it had a search engine program with it.
I have been told by another scripter friend that although Ring Link appears to
look fine for a few rings, the script would bog down my server if I had a large
number of rings. This worries me because my website has over 7,000 users and we
host 8 webrings at Yahoo that we want to move to our own server.
With all the fuss over Yahoo, alot of ring owners want to move to our system
once we are ready to make it public. I am delaying making it public because
since I have heard so much about Ring Link not being able to handle a large
number of rings, it scares me.
It's a shamed because other than the lack of a search engine, it is working
perfectly.
