Until they have been implemented, there is a search script adopted for
Ringlink available at http://rachelle.net/ringlink/fixes/

Have you? There have been a few discussions on this subject on both this
list and ringmgr@egroups.com, and most of the reported conclusions are
that it works, after all.
The number of rings or sites isn't very important, btw, but the
_traffic_ is. Do you have any idea of how much traffic you are talking
about?
