If the Host were willing to institute the proper permissions then no it is
not impossible, just more difficult and time consuming.
The Host would need to set permissions allowing the scripts to access files
within the directory while keeping normal users out of the directory.
He might be able to make the script a user with the proper access.
It is possible to set permissions such that an exe can run using a file
within
a secure directory while no one else would be able to see or read the files.
The same could be accomplished with the Ringlink files.
That is where group, directory and file permissions come in to play.
The question would be if the Host is willing to devote the time to set
it up. The permissions would only need to be set once if the Host has a good
backup procedure.
