I have a possibility to restrict the permissions so that only the
subscribed addresses can post to the list. However, since many
subscribers work with multiple addresses, and often post messages from
other addresses than the one they subscribed, that setting would lead to
plenty of the legitimate postings be bounces to me, and I would need to
forward them to the list manually. Since this forwarding routine is
rather time consuming, I'd prefer not to use the possibility to restrict
the posting permissions yet because of one single spam message.
However, if spam messages begin to appear frequently, I won't hesitate
to restrict the posting permissions.
