Yes, these terms do make one think of mindless bureaucrats and endless miles 
of red tape, and thus may not be appropriate for an "Open Source" Project, 
but you need to have some form of designation so as to avoid confusion??
The Ringlink Program for example has a very "Official" GNU General Public 
License Agreement!?!  
I've also noticed that in the past you have suggested to others who have 
setup say a Ringlink Y!Club or a Ringlink eGroups Forum that there was no 
need for them to do so, because this [ringlistlist] already existed, and as 
you saw it there was no need for any further duplication, which in your 
opinion would only cause confusion.
Are you not then saying that you want this [ringlinklist] Forum to be 
recognized or acknowledged as being the "Primary/Official" resource within 
the scope of the Ringlink Project?
Maybe "Primary" and "Secondary" would be the more appropriate words?
 Or maybe we could just use the Swedish word for Official, which would 
probably sound rather official even though we wouldn't know what it meant!?!
 It would certainly be rather nifty to be able to say my Ring is the   ????
