Thanks for letting us know about the counter. Correct me if I'm wrong,
but since it is SSI, there are two limitations:
- Access to SSI is necessary
- It will only work on ring homepages hosted on the same servers as
  the Ringlink software.
I have had a site counter item on the Ringlink project list for a while,
and these limitations is one reason why I have not implemented anything
in the original program yet.
Nevertheless, there are many ringmasters hosting the Ringlink software
themselves who might be interested in your solution. Therefore I'd
appreciate if you send the necessary info to Rachelle
(rings@rachelle.net) so she can make the counter available at
http://rachelle.net/ringlink/additions/
