Re: SSI and .shtml (was Site Counter Script)



Newer versions of Apache on *nix systems support the "XBitHack" feature where 
any file with it's execute bit set will be treated as an SSI page. But, the 
feature has to be turned on by the server admins. I'm not sure if it is legal 
to put into a .htaccess file or not (haven't tried yet).
