Re: SSI and .shtml (was Site Counter Script)



Thanks for the confirmation on .htaccess. But, why would it slow everything 
down? If a .html file doesn't have it's execute bit set, it shouldn't get 
parsed as an SSI page, no? Of course there is a very small amount of overhead 
in checking whether the files execute bit is set.
