http://www.geocities.com/~wisdom/success.html works fine now, at least for 
me.  The pages are on Geocities, for now, but I do hope to move them and 
keep the wisdomquotes.com domain name.  Try the awful Geoaddress 
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Valley/3130/success.html and see if that 
helps.
The Bessie Stanley information currently on the web is at 
http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~ac230/emerson/success.html -- more complete and 
detailed information will be published in an upcoming article by Joel 
Myerson in the Emerson Society Papers.  He's taken the research another 
step beyond what's found at 
http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~ac230/emerson/success.html so it should be more 
convincing.
What are the dates on your two sources, if you don't mind?  I'm trying, as 
I indicated, to research where the earliest misattributions have occurred.
