Hey, all: 
I have this really great quote, that I have absolutely no reason to use on
my site, so I'm giving it to you all, as inspiration: 
"Positive obsession is about not being able to stop just because you're
afraid and full of doubts."
Octavia Butler, in the essay "Positive Obsession," in _Bloodchild and Other
Stories_. 1996, p. 133
Octavia Butler is this wonderful science fiction writer; her essay is about
how difficult it is for her, a black woman, to write science fiction amidst
criticism that she's 'wasting her talent'. 
I think the quote is perfect for what I do, and I suspect it fits a lot of
us on the Internet.
