Ordering quotes

Mine are in a FoxPro database, organized by author within birth date (where
I have birth dates), but sortable by author, birth date, death date, or any
other column...
The reasons I like to use birth dates are:
1. Few others do it that way.
2. It sometimes provides more of an interesting context.
