I also have that quote attributed to William Penn, although I believe the 
wording may be slightly different.
I dont have time to check the exact wording I have but I believe it goes like 
this,
"I expect to pass through life but once.  Therefore, if there be any good 
that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being, then let 
me do it now for I shall not pass this way again." --William Penn
