Good idea, Julia May I humbly offer a quote to discuss? The quote below is a kind of stoic or Zen idea. Is life better accepting what you cannot control or having possibly unrealistic expectations about things you cannot possibly control? This was posted on alt.quotations with no reply: Happiness equals reality minus expectations. Anyone know the source? I heard it on the PBS radio show "Car Talk" with Tom and Ray Magliozzi BTW it's a great hour of wisdom and humor mixed with mechanics. http://cartalk.cars.com/ I e-mailed them asking if they were the source, but I know how busy they are. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steve p.s. Anyone have any other zen type quotes on happiness? > > I think there should be a weekly quote that everyone > should discuss. > > --- Gunnar Hjalmarsson <quotation-ring@gunnar.cc> > wrote: >> >> Julia Presley wrote: >> > >> > does anyone ever even use this anymore? >> >> Well, Julia, I suppose that your question is >> justified.
