True.  But my best recollection is, the professor himself did not recall the
quotation.  In fact, I'm embarrassed to admit I am having trouble
remembering his name, but I think it was Mr. Shaw.  It would not be too
difficult for me to dig it up, if someone wants to know for sure.  He was a
full professor, even though he only had a 5-year Bachelor's degree.  But his
great background qualified him for full professor rank.
