Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried the e-texts that were available to
the texts below as well as Van Dyke's son's biography of his father. I did
write to Peter Shearn a couple of months ago but did not hear back from him.

Or, if you can track him down, Peter N. Shearn is listed on the flyleaf of
"Who Owns the Mountains" (selections from Henry van Dyke's writings)
as being, "an avid collector of the writings of Henry van Dyke.
You might be able to track him down through Northfield Publishing in
Chicago,
the publisher of "Who Owns the Mountains" (compiled by Peter N. Shearn).
