Re: Knowing art

Hello,
Bartlett's 16th edition gives the quote "He knows all about art, but he
doesn't know what he likes" from James Thurber (1894-1961) as being the
caption for a cartoon in The Now Yorker. From the quote you gave, it looks
like someone changed this quote around to suit their purposes. I hope that
helps.

Forwarded query from Eileen, who looks for the attribution for: "I don't
know art but I know what I like."
Can anybody help?
/ Gunnar
